Terms of Service

Welcome to getsub. By accessing or using getsub.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What we provide

getsub transcribes publicly accessible audio from third-party video URLs (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) into text. We make commercially reasonable efforts to deliver accurate transcripts but make no warranty as to accuracy, availability, or fitness for any particular purpose.

2. Your account

You may use the Service anonymously within free limits, or create an account using a magic-link email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure. One account per natural person.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Submit URLs of private or restricted content that you do not have the right to access
• Use the Service to infringe copyright or any third-party intellectual property
• Resell, scrape, or automate access in a way that bypasses usage limits
• Use the Service for unlawful, harassing, or harmful purposes

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to transcribe any content you submit. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Pricing & billing

• Free plan: 3 transcripts per day per user/device. No payment required.
• Pro plan: USD 3.00 / month, billed monthly, with a 2-day free trial. Unlimited transcripts.
• Billing is handled by Polar.sh (Merchant of Record). Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
• You may cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no pro-rata refunds.
• If you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged.

5. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund window for any first-time Pro purchase. Email axelmdt.pro@gmail.com to request a refund.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you submit and the transcripts produced from it. We claim no ownership of your transcripts. The getsub name, logo, and codebase remain our property.

7. Third-party platforms

getsub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube, or Google. We rely on third parties to extract publicly available content. Platform changes may disrupt the Service without notice.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of transcripts, or that the Service will remain compatible with any specific platform.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these Terms. On termination, your transcripts history may be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified by email to Pro subscribers. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Axel's place of residence.
